Watercolors, 33 x 50 cm.
This is a painting based on a old German saga called Lohengrin. In this image you see Ortrud's castle in the forest. It's a bit overgrown and also a bit dilapidated. Ortrud represents the the evil pagan witch and former ruler, who is still believing in the old gods while the "civilized" rest of the population is already christianized. She lives alone with few of her followers in this castle in the forest and makes plans how to regain power. More Lohengrin Pictures: The Journey Comments
 well, perfect...especially it's cool to have eye for details and to put this small element of relief on these ruin wall...well, i imagine how grate story it is...
